Kapil Sharma BREAKS SILENCE on Family Time With Kapil Sharma going off-air

New Delhi:

Kapil Sharma's new show - Family Time With Kapil Sharma- has been hogging the limelight ever since there have been reports of the show being pulled down within a month of its launch.

The media reports suggest that since the show failed to grab the requires attention and TRP, Kapil chose to call it off.

However, contrary to the reports, Kapil Sharma has finally broken his silence and said that the show is going for a revamp in coordination with Sony Entertainment who still have faith in him.

"The people who want my career destroyed can spread whatever lies they want. I am okay with it. I am not new to people piggy riding on my success. Let them. As long as it gives them the satisfaction that they want. I know what I am doing. And my channel Sony Entertainment are completely behind him. Sony’s helmers Mr N P Singh and Mr Danish Aslam are the most supportive people I’ve worked with. They believe in me," Kapil was quoted saying to Bollywood Hungama.

Interestingly, there have been reports that Kapil isn't happy with the way FTWKSS was shaping and chose to call it off.

“Kapil was not happy with what he was shooting. He didn’t feel the same kick shooting the new game-show that he did when he shot Comedy Nights and The Kapil Sharma Show. The spark was missing. He kept saying, ‘Yaar kuch mazaa nahin aa raha hai’. Until it came to a point where he just gave up. He decided to take a break to do some serious re-think,” a source was quoted as saying.

Although Kapil hasn't divulged in any detail about the revamped version of the show, it will be interesting to see if this show will be able to save Kapil Sharma's otherwise sinking career.

On the other hand, several celebs have extended their support to Kapil Sharma including Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde and Bharti Singh who have urged the audience to give the comedian another chance.
