Comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma, who is controversy's favourite child, is hogging limelight yet another time.
With an annoying impression for a certain section of media, the comedy king on Friday took to micro-blogging site Twitter and threw a series of dirty abuses against a leading entertainment portal and its editor Vickey Lalwani.
Reportedly, Kapil has also filed a legal complaint against the editor and his alleged ex-girlfriend and producer Preeti Simoes and her sister Neeti Simoes.
"Kapil Sharma filed a police complaint against his ex-managers Neeti, Preeti and journalist Vicky Lalwani for trying to extort Rs 25 lakhs from him, alleged Vicky Lalvani started a false & malicious propaganda to defame him in digital media after he refused to pay him the amount," the news agency ANI tweeted.

"Some people just want to defame you for few bucks, but it will take ages to take a stand against the wrong ...I shall do it today n forever," Kapil captioned a tweet while sharing a copy of the complaint filed against Vickey Lalwani, Preeti Simoes and Neeti Simoes.
In his complaint, Kapil accused the entertainment portal and its editor Lalwani of showing him in a bad light. The entertainment portal had allegedly made remarks about Kapil's career, finance and relationships.

Meanwhile, his freshly launched show 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma' is also under threat as only three episodes of the show have been aired so far. The team failed to shoot any new episode due to Kapil's absence on the sets. Hence, the entire team and channel have witnessed a great deal of loss and the show may go off air anytime soon. Last year, Kapil was in the headlines for his infamous mid-air spat with co-actor Sunil Grover. Followed by the verbal spat Grover along with several other actors left The Kapil Sharma Show.
