Kapil Sharma, who has been controversy's favorite child these days, has once again cancelled the shooting of his popular comedy show 'The Kapil Sharma Show', but this time with Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari.
According to the media reports, Tiwari was suppose to shoot for a Bhojpuri episode for TKSS for which he had flown down to Mumbai for a day. However, the shoot was reportedly cancelled in the last moment.
While the sudden cancellation of shoot has once again raised eyebrows for Kapil Sharma show, it is being reported that the comedian-turned-actor wasnt at fault this time.
The media reports suggest that the shoot was cancelled following ongoing workers' strike of Federation of Western India Cine Employees' (FWICE).
Confirming the news, Manoj told DNA, "I was here for a day to shoot for a Bhojpuri episode on Kapil's show. But I got a call from him saying the shooting has been cancelled."
"It is the workers' strike that has forced the shooting to be cancelled," he added.
The FWICE strike has apparently taken a toll on several TV shows, including Amitabh Bachchan's 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 9'.
Interestingly, this hasn't been the first time when Kapil Sharma had to cancel the shoot of his show. Earlier, he had cancelled the shoot twice with Shah Rukh Khan and Anil Kapoor respectively owing to his ill health.
