Television actor Karan Patel and wife Ankita Bhargava welcomed a baby girl on December 14, 2019. In a statement, Karan expressed his happiness on the birth of his daughter and said, ''I am numb and overjoyed, and a little intimidated. The only soul who has given me such emotions all at one go.''
The 36-year-old actor also said that his wife is fine and thanked his fans and followers for their constant love, support and blessings. "Ankita is doing well and our families would like to thank each and everyone who have loved us and continue to bless us," Karan added in his statement.
This is the second time when the couple became parents as previously in May 2018, they announced the good news but unfortunately, the actress suffered a miscarriage. Giving a statement about the same, they gave an official statement that said, “I would urge all media personnel to please allow Karan and Ankita Karan Patel enough time to deal with the miscarriage. It is a difficult time for them individually and for the families involved. This sudden turn of events happened a few days ago and ever since we have tried to keep it low key, only so that we allow them enough time to cope with it.''
Meanwhile, Karan, who is known for portraying Raman Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, also did Khatron Ke Khiladi, hosted by Rohit Shetty. The reality show will premiere early next year.
Ankita Bhargava is a television actress as well and starred in the shows Kesar, Dekha Ek Khwaab and Reporters.
