Television’s one of the most loved soap Kasauti Zindagi Kay reboot will see a shocking turn of events that will leave the viewers gasping for breath. Just when everything started turning conducive with Anurag (Parth Samthaan) regaining his lost memory and accepting Prerna (Erica Fernandes) and her child, Komolika turned Sonalika’s (Amna Shariff) evil motives biting dust and the death of another grey character Viraj (Namik Paul), in a cruel twist of fate the central protagonist will meet her end.
After releasing a promo two days back which hints at the death of Prerna, Ekta Kapoor recently revealed that her audience will witness ‘betrayal at its peak’. The star-crossed lovers Anurag and Prerna will see an end to them when Anurag in a moment of betrayal kill the woman he has saved in several instances. Show’s producer Ekta Kapoor confirmed the big twist to the tabloid and said, “Yes, this will happen. Anurag and Prerna are among the most loved pairs from the small screen, but now viewers will see betrayal at its peak.”
The show hence will take a time leap with the addition of new characters. The upcoming episodes will see Prerna giving birth to a baby girl and Anurag regaining his memory. However the happiness is short-lived as Anurag will reportedly murder her after the birth of their first child.
A few days back Bollywood actor Fatima Sana Shaikh who is a fan of the TV show in a post shared that she had a weird dream where exactly the same happens that Ekta Kapoor told the tabloid. “.... I saw a weird dream last night that was more of a nightmare considering kasauti was one of my favourite TV series in growing up years. In my vivid morning dream ANURAG KILLS PRERNA. Yes none another than ANURAG himself !!!! Hope it never happens though.”
Kasauti Zindagi Kay that is a re-telling of Balaji telefilms most successful and long running show of the same name. Ekta Kapoor’s endeavour however failed to gain much steam in viewership. With additions of characters and new twists, the show makers are planning to revamp its dwindling TRPs giving it an effective face-lift.
