'Kaun Banega Crorepati 9': This is how much Amitabh Bachchan will charge for every KBC episode

Amitabh Bachchan, who made the the popular quiz show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' an unforgettable part of Indian Television, is all set to make a comeback on the small screen with the new season of the show. 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' is all set to launch its ninth season soon. Apparently, ever since the ninth season of KBC was launched, the show was surrounded with speculations regarding the host of the show. It was reported that KBC 9 might be hosted by Madhuri Dixit or Aishwarya Rai Bachchan instead of megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

But, acccording to the recent buzz, it is being reported that 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 9' will be hosted by Mr. Bachchan itself. However, the reports also suggest that the 'Sarkar 3' actor agreed to host the show post a major fee hike.

Reportedly, Big B, who was said to charge an amount of Rs 2 crore per episode for KBC asked for hike in his fees to which the makers agreed.

"Amitabh Bachchan will now be getting around Rs 2.75-3 crore per episode. Negotiations are on and the channel has agreed for the hike," a source reportedly told a web portal.

While the sets of KBC 9 is said to be worked upon, the shooitng is expected to begin in August this year.

Apparently, Big B has given the makers of the show 17 days (10 days in August, and 7 days in September) from his busy schedule to shoot the ninth season of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'.

Currently, Amitabh Bachchan is busy shooting for his upcoming movie '102 Not Out' along with Rishi Kapoor, wherein the two are playing the role of father and son respectively. Directed by Umesh Shukla, the film is based on Saumya Joshi’s Gujarati play by the same name.
