Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 11 has got the first crorepati of the season in its 18th episode. Sanoj Raj, a resident of Bihar and a Indian Administrative Services aspirant has become the first contestant to answer 15 questions successfully and has bagged Rs 1 crore.
Sanoj will attempt the Rs 7 crore question in the next episode and all eyes will be glued to the screen if the simpleton manages to hit the jackpot. The episode will soon be aired on Sony TV and a teaser of the historic episode is doing the rounds at Sony TV's social media pages.
Sanoj hails from Bihar's Jehanabad and is the son of a farmer. This is not the first time someone from Bihar will be attempting the jackpot question. Motihari's Sushil Kumar won Rs 5 crore in 2011.

Recently, Himanshu, a trainee commercial pilot won Rs 50 lakh after attempting 13 questions successfully. The episode opened with the 1 crore question but Himanshu decided to quit the game as he was not sure about his guess. Unfortunately, he missed his chance to take home Rs 1 crore and attempt further even after making the right attempt as he decided to quit without locking his answer.
Kaun Banega Crorepati airs from Monday to Friday at 9 pm on Sony TV.
