Sonakshi Sinha recently became a subject of trolls after she made an appearance at Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 11 and accompanied social entrepreneur Rumi Devi at the hot seat. Sonakshi failed to answer an apparent school standard question from Indian mythology, Ramayana and netizens reacted to her ignorance with mean memes.
Now a while back, the Mission Mangal actress took to Twitter to hit back at trolls in the wittiest way possible. In her tweet, she said that she doesn’t even remember the Pythagoras theorem, Merchant of Venice, Periodic Table and other things and if trolls are free they can make more memes on these as she loves them.
Dear jaage hue trolls.I don't even remember the Pythagoras theorem,Merchant of Venice,Periodic Table,Chronology of the Mughal Dynasty, aur kya kya yaad nahi woh bhi yaad nahi. Agar aapke paas koi kaam nahi aur Itna time hai toh please yeh sab pe bhi memes banao na. I love memes 😂

As soon as she came back with a feisty reply, the actress opened floodgates to more trolling
Dear soyi Hui "Indian", your father's name is not Pythogoras, his siblings' name is not Merchant of Venice, and your home is not named Mughal Dynasty, so the least you can do is to have knowledge of the mythological characters your entire family is named after. (1)

Stupidity is not to be celebrated!
Knowledge & creativity should be
This is not about Pythagoras Theorem or some complicated integral calculus
But a basic, simple story from our own culture.
Knowing & not knowing shows genuineness & dhikawa respectively— Devi Prasad Rao 🇮🇳 (@DPRArohana) September 21, 2019
The question that Sonakshi failed to answer was' Hanuman fetched the Sanjeevani herb for whom?'
Soon netizens started pointing out that members in her family from his father Shatrughan Sinha to brothers Luv, Kush and uncles are named after characters in Ramayana.
Sonakshi along with Ruma Devi won prize money worth Rs. 12, 50,000. The 'Lootera' actress described Ruma Devi as a "shining example of what women can achieve" and that she is a source of inspiration for women across the country. On a lighter note, when the show's host Big B asked Ruma Devi is she enjoys watching movies, she said that does and that Amitabh Bachchan's Sooryavansham and Son of Sardaar, featuring Sonakshi Sinha, are some of her favourite films.
Sonakshi was last seen in Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal. She will next be seen in Salman Khan's Dabangg 3.
