All the popular TV shows of 90s' are on its return journey. After the sleeper success of Ramayana, Star Bharat has decided to get back the popular Khichdi and Sarabhai Vs Sarabhi on national TV. The channel announced on Twitter that April 06 onwards the comedy shows will make a comeback and entertain the viewers during the lockdown period as new shows cannot be shot and telecasted.
The tweet read,"16 saal baad, Indravadan aa raha hai milne aapse fir ek baar. Dekhiye Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai April 6 se subah 10 baje. Sirf Star Bharat par, (Indravadan shall meet you after 16 years. Watch Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai from April 6, everyday at 10am)."

In another tweet, the channel revealed, "18 saal baat Praful aa raha hai appse milne. Dekhiye Khichdi April 6 se subah 11 baje, sirf Star Bharat par (Praful is coming to meet you after 18 years. Watch Khichdi everyday at 11 am)."

Sarabhai vs Sarabhai will air at 10 am Monday onwards while Khichdi will be re-telecasted at 11 am every day.
Although epsiodes are availble at OTT platforms to binge-watching watching them on TV brings back a lot of nostalgis, childhood memories for many.
Starring Ratna Pathak Shah, Satish Shah, Rupali Ganguli, Rajesh Kumar and Sumeet Raghavan, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai came with sequel for OTT a few years back but didnot gain much ground and wemy off-air. The show that deals with two generations of Sraabhai family was first aired on TV in 2004 on Star One.
On the other hand, Khichdi starring Supriya Pathak, Vandana Pathak, Rajeev Mehta, Jamnadas Majethia, achieved cult status and had a season 2 and a film made on it as well.
Both the shows, Sarabhai and Khichdi were written and directed by Aatish Kapadia.
