Kritika Kamra's comeback show on Life OK 'Prem Ya Paheli - Chandrakanta', which started off with a bang a couple six months ago, is all set to be pulled off next month. Reportedly, the show, which feature Shraddha and Gaurav Khanna in the lead role, was facing TRP issues, as a result the makers decided to end it.
According to a report published in India Forums, “Prem Ya Paheli - Chandrakanta, the show was meant to be a finite series, but it has apparently failed to fetch the expected numbers on the TRP charts. And analyzing the same, Life OK has decided to pull the plug on the show. Of what we hear, the show will go off-air in the month of August.”

While the news has come as a shock for the audience, looks like the team isn't much aware about the show going off air. “We have no idea about it. We haven't got any information on the same," Gaurav Khanna was quoted as saying.
Interestingly, 'Prem Ya Paheli - Chandrakanta' made it to the headlines days before its launch as Ekta Kapoor too announced a show on similar concept with Madhurima Tuli in the lead, which is being aired on Colors.
While Kritika's show struggled to get the desired TRP's, Ekta's version of the show is rating high on TRP charts.
Notably, an official announcement is yet to be made by the makers about the end of ‘Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta’.
