It's been a while when Kapil Sharma announced the end of his very popular comedy show - The Kapil Sharma Show. And now another show on Sony Television is all set to bid adieu.
We are talking about Krushna Abhishek's The Drama Company.
The show, which was launched around two months ago, will be pulled down by the end of this month. The show features Mithun Chakraborty, Krushna Abhishek, Ali Asgar, Sanket Bhosle and Sungandha Mishra in key roles and is said to have failed to garner required TRP ratings.
Confirming the news, producer Preeti Simoes told Tellychakkar, "We were always a limited series. Our season will end by this month. I have no clue if the channel plans to bring the show with another season."
Apparently, there are reports that Krushna Abhishek's show will be replaced by Sunil Grover's new show.
Reportedly, Sunil's show is going to be a comic series and is still at the initial stage
"It is in a very nascent stage. But the channel for sure is bringing a non-fiction project with Sunil Grover. The concept and idea is still at the discussion stage but it will obviously be a comic series," a source was quoted saying to Tellychakkar.
On other hand, Sony TV is all set to some new shows going on air soon which include Prithvi Vallabh, Porus, Ek Deewana Tha, Haasil and Super Dancer Chapter 2. The new shows are said to hit the television screens soon
