'Naagin 2' actor Karanvir Bohra escapes near fatal accident, calls it a 'miracle'

Television actor Karanvir Bohra is thanking his lucky stars has he had a narrow escape from near fatal accident.

The accident took place while the actor was on his way to Bhuj on Tuesday for his upcoming movie 'Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna'.

Reportedly, Bohra was accompanied by his sister Meenakshi and co-star Priya Banerjee and the three suffered minor injuries. 

According to the media reports, the team has cancelled the shoot in Bhuj and headed back to Mumbai after the accident.

Talking about his miraculous escape for the fatal accident, Karanvir Bohra, told a leading daily, “With the grace of God there are no injuries except for a slight back pain due to the sudden jerk. A speeding truck was coming from the wrong side and we managed to swerve to the right on to the pavement in an attempt to avoid the truck and hit a lamppost. The speed of the car was roughly 90-95 kms/hr, as I had asked my driver to not drive above 100kms/hr.”

“Maybe for 50 meters we kept driving on the pavement. The car is completely smashed and it’s a miracle we survived. We were actually going to shoot just the title track of the movie and that is all that is left for the film to complete,” Karan added.

Bohra, who is currently seen on Colors' popular daily soap 'Naagin 2', even shared a video on Instagram thanking his fans for their best wishes.

In the caption he wrote, "Thank you for all your wishes....@priyabanerjee @shivangibohra and my driver all are fine and in one piece. Is only god's grace how the car to the entire impact on itself....really thankful to my soldier of a car @nissan #sunny This is the second time this car has taken such an impact My only advice to all the young drivers out there that please don't drive at night. We may be great drivers, but we cat be sure of the other person. In any case, we in India don't follow any rules, so please take precaution. God bless and thank his grace. Om namo shivaya".

Apart from his work commitments, Karanvir Bohra is busy taking care of his two daughters along with wife Teejay Sidhu. The couple became parents for the first time in October 2016.
