Actor Neil Bhoopalam is turning host for a new TV show “How To Win At Everything”, which offers hacks to give viewers smart advantages in various aspects of life.
The 33-year-old “NH 10” actor said he jumped at the chance of anchoring the show as he felt the concept was quirky as well as useful for people in their dealings of daily life.
“It is not a game show. The series explores human physiology, psychology, physics, technology and mathematics to show how people can win in any scenario. I will analyse every action and will demonstrate ways to approach real world situations offering shortcuts for life,” Neil told PTI.
“The show attempts to make science more palatable and fun by combining interactive, relatable content that is not only entertaining but informative too,” said the actor, who has also starred in films like “No One Killed Jessica”, “Shaitan” and “David”.
Some episodes of the show will feature world record holders who will demonstrate their skills and expertise in things like parallel parking and speed eating.
Neil shared a few situations which will be tackled in the show and one of them is how one can park the car at one go using a handbrake.
“Other examples are whether it is faster to smash through a locked door in an emergency with your foot or a crowbar and if eating spicy food or dipping your clothes in tepid water is the best way to stay cool in the heat,” said Neil, who is currently shooting the second season of Anil Kapoor’s TV series “24”.
The six-week-long series will premiere tonight on National Geographic Channel and will be aired every Monday to Wednesday at 9:30pm.
