To colour up the Tuesday’s grey, here’s news that will cheer up the fans of Sacred Games! The disheartened fans from the uncertain future of the show’s second season can now rest assure as the streaming giant Netflix has decided to continue its collaboration with Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane after they did their ‘independent investigation’.

The #MeToo wave that caught the fire lately did not spare the show from getting the flames hit. The future of the show was in vain after the accusation of sexual assault against Vikas Bahl was made public by a female employee. Vikas was the partner of Anurag and Vikramaditya at Phantom Films and owing to the crises, Phantom Films was made to dissolve. Bahl has filed defamation suits against his partners.
Netflix shared a statement that read, “After an independent investigation, the results helped inform Netflix’s decision to continue with Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap on season 2 of Sacred Games. We continue to collaborate with our production partners to ensure and maintain a safe and respectful working environment.”

PTI also reported that Netflix will continue with the second season of Sacred Games along with the sexual misconduct accused Varun Grover.
Based on the Vikram Chandra novel, Sacred Games Season 1, was directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. The show written by Varun Grover, Smita Singh, and Vasant Nath, was critically acclaimed by both the audiences and critics. It starred Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Radhika Apte in pivotal roles.
