'Bigg Boss 11': Not Salman Khan, but THIS actor to host the reality show?

Bigg Boss 11 has been the talk of the town since the day it has been announced. While the hearts are racing for the eleventh season of the popular reality show to go on air, here comes a major shocker for the audience as host Salman Khan has reportedly opted of out Bigg Boss 11.

The media reports suggest, Salman hasn't been keen to be back on the reality show for a couple of season now as it does affect his other professional commitments to an extent. And now finally the 'Tubelight' star has parted ways with the reality show.

While the reports have come as big shock to everyone, it is being reported that the makers are planning to replace him with another superstar.
We are talking about Akshay Kumar.

Reportedly, Akshay, who was rumoured to be replacing Khan for 'Dus Ka Dum', will now be reportedly hosting Bigg Boss 11.

According to a report published in The Quint, "Salman has been wanting to opt out from Bigg Boss for some years now. Every year he announces he won't do Bigg Boss as it impinges on his other commitments and makes a heavy demand on his time. But now he is seriously not keen to go on. Akshay Kumar with his huge connect with the masses is seen as the best replacement."

The report also suggested that Colors and Endemol are quite interested in taking up Akshay and will reportedly get him on board for the show.

Notably, no official confirmation has been made in this regard so far. But if the media reports turned out to be true, it will indeed be a huge disappointment for Salman Khan's fans given that it is the 'Dabangg' star who has become synonymous to Bigg Boss show.

We wonder if Akshay Kumar will be able to do justice as the new host of Bigg Boss 11 and garner the same level of success for the show like Salman Khan did.
