Sasural Simar Ka which was supposed to go off air on September 19 has got a new lease of life. Yes, you heard it right. The channel airing the popular daily soap has given the show an extension.
The Rashmi Sharma produced show will continue to air but at a new time slot. The show will take over the slot of Bhaag Bakool Bhaag, which currently airs at 5:30 pm, as per a report in Times of India.
Sasural Simar Ka became the butt of jokes on social media for its storyline where the protagonist turned into a makhi (fly).
Bhaag Bakool Bhaag was launched in early prime time in May amidst a lot of expectations but it couldn't get the desired ratings.
The show which stars Jay Soni, Shruti Rawat and Hiba Nawab is based on Govinda's Saajan Chale Sasural. It is produced by the makers of the popular comedy show 'Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hein'.
Beyond Dreams' new show Ishq Mein Marjawan starring Arjun Bijlani and Alisha Panwar will take the slot of 7:30 pm on Colors from September 20.
