The daily soap produced by Shashi and Sumeet Mittal has faced several problems owing to its controversial storyline. Due to the problems faced by the show, the channel Sony Entertainment Television has decided to take it off air. No episode was telecasted on Monday evening and this came as a major shock to the cast.

The show makers were planning for a time leap and this came as a bolt from the blue.

The show has received a lot of flak on social media for its regressive content. Viewers even filed a petition to the Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani, requesting her to ban the show.
