Comedian Sunil Grover, who recently made it to the headlines post his spat with Kapil Sharma, has reportedly decided to quit 'The Kapil Sharma'.
According to the media reports, Sunil, who is seen playing the role of Dr Mashoor Gulati in 'The Kapil Sharma', is no mood to return to the show even if he gets a major hike.
Grover's decision has come in wake of his recent mid-air assault by Sharma. It was reported that Kapil had manhandled Sunil in front of all the passengers in the flight. Sharma also allegedly insulted Grover by calling him his servant and even cited Sunil as a flop actor.
While this incident has created a controversy, it is being reported that Sunil Grover has made up his mind to end his association with TKSS.

According to a report published in The Quint, Sunil's close friend has confirmed the news.
"Firstly, Sunil has not given a single statement about his conflict with Kapil Sharma in any newspaper , website or any media platform. So whatever quotes we’ve seen of Sunil are fabricated manufactured and false. Secondly, Sunil is contract-bound with Sony Entertainment until April 23. Until then he will neither speak about what really happened with Kapil nor can he opt out of his contractual obligations. Thirdly , to even suggest that Sunil is asking for a fee hike to continue with The Kapil Sharma Show, as is being insinuated by a section of the press, is ridiculous. Even if Sunil is offered twice the current remuneration he wouldn’t continue with the show. He has made up his mind to move on," Grover's friend was quoted as saying.
The friend also stated that Sunil is quite distressed with the entire incident.
“Sunil is badly shaken. He never expected Kapil to behave this way. Kapil’s problems with beverages have been persistently spoiling his relations with his Comedy team. He shouts at his colleagues, taunts them, shows them their place…The colleagues have taken it on their chin so far attributing his bad behaviour to alcohol. But now after the in-flight incident they’ve decided to protest in no uncertain terms against Kapil’s unruly behaviour," Grover's friend added.

Notably, News Nation individually couldn't verify the authenticity of these reports. Besides, Sunil Grover himself is yet to release an official statement in this regard.
If the media reports are to be believed, the other team members of TKSS too have decided to boycott the show.
However, Kiku Sharda has voiced his opinions in Kapil Sharma's support and told a leading daily, “Kapil Sharma is a fine human being. I’ve been with him during the last few days…He made a mistake . He regrets it. He has apologised for it. What more can he do?”
On the other hand, Kapil Sharma too has apologised to Sunil Grover on micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, "Paji Sunil Grover sry if I hurt u unintentionally.u knw vry well how much I luv u. M also upset .love n regards always".
We wonder if this unfortunate incident will bring an end to a commendable camaraderie between Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma or will Dr Mashoor Gulati will give TKSS host another chance.
