She and her husband Malav Rajda have embraced parenthood for the first time. Priya's husband Malav Rajda is also the chief director of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'. The duo fell in love on the sets and tied the knot on November 19, 2011.
For the uninitiated, she had announced her baby's arrival this year on the pious occasion of Janmashtami. She had even posted several cute pictures from her babymoon in the Maldives. In the pictures, we saw Priya flaunting her baby bump.
Meanwhile, TV actress Monika Bhadoriya, who plays the role of 'Bawri has apparently exited the show. She shot for her last episode on October 20. As per a report in Spotboye.com, Monika decided to bid adieu to the show after makers refused to give her a hike. Even after many negotiations when things didn't work out, Monika decided to opt out.
When the portal contacted the actress seeking her side on the reports, Monika said, "Yes, I have left the show but I don't want to talk about it". ''The show and the character are definitely close to my heart. I was looking for a better pay scale but they didn't agree to it. However, I have no qualms as professionally they relieved me. In fact, I don't mind coming back to the show if they agree to pay what I asked for. But I don't think it’s happening so yes, I am no longer a part of the show,'' Monika added.
Apart from Monika and Disha, there are several other actors who had made an exit from the show in the last few months. Bhavya Gandhi, who played the role of Tappu, left the show in 2017. Nidhi Bhanushali, who played the role of Sonu Bhide, a friend of Tappu's, also left the show since she needed to focus on her studies.
