Siddharth Sagar, who was seen in The Kapil Sharma Show, created a buzz lately when he went missing for around five months.
A lot was being said about his disappearance and it was reported that Siddharth's tiff with parents was one of the reason behind the actor being missing for so long.
And now the Comedy Circus actor has finally opened up about what went wrong with him and it ordeal has left everyone shocked.
During his recent interview with Spotboye, Siddharth said that he has been through a lot of ups and downs in a year. He even revealed that he was sent to mental asylum where he started slipping into depression.
"I have been going through a lot of ups and downs since last one year. I didn’t touch base with anyone because I was scared and I knew that my disappearance has caused a number of complications already. I have spoken to my manager, Shekhar, to arrange for a press conference soon. for now, I can tell you that I was admitted to a mental asylum. My family has been involved in property dispute for long and my parents were influenced. I saw how patients in the asylum were being subjected to shock treatment and was beginning to slip into depression. No one knows of my whereabouts at the moment, but all I can tell you is that the people I am with currently have helped me overcome the trauma", Siddharth was quoted as saying.
He even asserted that while he was requesting people there to let him go out, no one came to his help.
"I requested people to go out and inform my well-wishers that I am stuck here but no one helped me," Siddharth added.
Apparently, there have been reports that Siddharth was kidnapped by his mother who has been torturing him for a while.
However, contrary to the reports, Siddharth said, "No, she hasn't. But yes, I repeat, my family was influenced. A girl, I don’t know who, was giving me some tablets because of which I would completely lose my mind."
The young comedian also spoke about filing NC against his family and said, "They made it disappear when I was in the asylum. I have named my parents and other family members who are responsible for harassing me in the NC. It was only with passing time that I realised that my parents weren't against me but were influenced for money."
