The Kapil Sharma show gets another season of life with some changes.

The Kapil Sharma show has been struggling to regain its position in the Television Rating Points (TRP) as his former team member and comedian Sunil Grover quit the show after their infamous mid-air tiff. After that, there had been rumors that Kapil Sharma show will go off air. But recently there are news doings the round that the Sony TV channel has decided to renew its contract for yet another year.

The news brings relief to millions of die hard fans of Kapil Sharma who has been following him since the Great Indian Laughter Challenge 2007. But this time the format and characters of the show will be little different as the show makers are thinking of revamping the show. It is being said that Kapil's show would take a break soon and return with a new format and in a completely different look.

According to the source from the Kapil's team told DNA : "The current format has run its course. Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar's departure and Bharati Singh and Chandan Prabhakar's re-entry are not the issue. We've realised that the entire show needs a revamp."

Even the presence of Bollywood celebrities on the show will also reduce and the team members will play different characters. However However, it doesn't mean that Sunil Grover will return to the show, although the door is open for him. "He (Sunil) is welcome if he wants to return, but no one is sending out feelers to him; least of all Kapil," team member said.

From, past two three months kapil is not well, he fainted thrice on the sets. He has been shooting back-to-back shoots.He is shooting also for his upcoming second movie, Firang.

"He spends close to six hours recording for The Kapil Sharma Show and then tries to shoot for his film, Firang. The film is not going anywhere. It is a dead weight", the source added.
