Television actor and husband to Divyanka Tripathi, Vivek Dahiya, was reportedly hospitalised for intestinal infection.
The actor and his wife were vacationing in Macau and has returned recently to host the upcoming season of Nach Baliye when he complained of stomach pain and then caught fever. There are also rumours that the couple might opt out from the starring in the show's first episode keeping Vivek's health in mind.
A source told Pinkvilla, that Vivek has been diagnosed with an intestinal infection and liver abyss. The source explained, "Vivek and Divyanka had just returned from Macau, and from the very next day, Vivek has been down with a fever. The fever wasn't going down and with severe stomach pain, Vivek was rushed to the hospital yesterday and he has been diagnosed with an intestinal infection and liver abyss."

According to the entertainment portal, Divyanka confirmed the news by saying, "Yes Vivek has been extremely unwell. I have been shuffling between the shoot and hospital and luckily my family is also going to be in town soon to help us out. He is still recuperating and has been asked to stay on bed rest for a few days even post getting discharged. We've shot for our performance piece but anchoring would not be possible for Vivek. I'm not sure either about my involvement in it. Busy with him for now," she said.
Divyanka and Vivek were happy and excited about hosting Nach Baliye 9. Few days back Divyanka had said, "Vivek and I are doing it together for the pre-launch episode. I always wanted to host with Vivek. I'm very happy that we got this opportunity in Nach which has been a very important part of our life."
Divyanka who is part of popular daily soap of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has previously participated and won Nach Baliye 8 along with hubby Vivek Dahiya.
Nach Baliye's grand premiere has already been shot and will see Raveena Tandon as the judge alongside choreographer Ahmed Khan. Salman is producing this season and has brought several ex-couple back to shake leg together for the reality show's sake.Â
Among other jodis, it is Anita Hassanandani-Rohit Reddy, Shantanu Maheshwari- Nityaami Shirke, Keith Sequeira-Rochelle Rao, Faisal Khan-Muskaan Kataria, Urvashi Dholakia-Anuj Sachdeva, Vishal Singh-Madhurima Tuli, Shraddha Arya- Aalam Makkar, Saurabh Raj-Riddhima, Aly Goni and Natasha who have shot for the show.
