While Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss made its return with 13th season, daily soap Kundli Bhagya ruled the TRP ratings for most of the year. These shows have been creating waves across the country with their unique concept and stellar performances by the cast. Kumkum Bhagya – Another Zee TVs show which has been one of the favourite daily soap opera for television audience is Kumkum Bhagya. The show stars Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia in pivotal roles.
Choti Sarrdaarni - Featuring Nimrit Ahluwalia and Avinesh Rekhi in lead roles, the newly launched show was first aired on July 1 this year on ColorsTV and quickly became a household show.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah – One of the longest running comedy shows on Indian television ‘Taarak Mehta..’ is also in the list of top 10 shows of the outgoing year. The show features Dilip Joshi, Moon Moon Dutta, Shailesh Lodha and many other actors in significant roles.
Bigg Boss – Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss is one of the most controversial and popular shows on the Indian Television. Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka – Recently launched daily soap has managed to win hearts of many viewers and is one of the top 10 shows of the year. Recently, the show even became number show in week 47. ‘ Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ features Vikram Singh Chauhan and Aditi Sharma in lead roles.
Kaun Banega Crorepati – The game show returned with the 11th season this year. Hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, the show maintained featured several contestants who wish to change their life with the sum of amount won.
The Kapil Sharma Show – The second season of the popular comedy chat show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has been one of the most loved show. However, Sunil Grover is no longer part of the show but Krushna Abhishek fills in for him as ‘Sapna’.
Super Dancer Chapter 3 – The popular dance reality show was also a great hit this year. Judged by Shilpa Shetty, Anurag Basu and Geeta Kapur, the third season was won by Rupsa Batabyal.
