While fans across the country are waiting eagerly to watch their beloved actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan yet again on screens, a few recent speculations about her upcoming venture 'Fanney Khan' will make them go 'wow'.
If a latest media report turns out to be true, the 'Yeh Dil Hai Mushkil' actress will be seen playing a singer and huge fan of Lata Mangeshkar in the Atul Manjrekar directorial. Hence, Fanney Khan will be Aishwarya's tribute to the songstress whom she has been a fan of most of her life.
"She plays a popular singer in the film and a fan of Lata. You can’t escape Lata’s influence if you’re playing a singer," a source close to Aishwarya and 'Fanney Khan' said."
Apart from a few original tracks, Aishwarya will also recreate a few of Lata’s numbers. That isn’t the film’s only connection with Lata. Anil Kapoor’s daughter, who plays an aspiring singer, is named Lata," the source added further.

Being asked about her feeling regarding this beautiful tribute from Aishwarya, Lata said, "It is good to hear that she is fond of my singing. I think I sang for her for the first time in Moha-bbatein. The song Humko Humhi Se Chura Lo was a hit. It’s a beautiful melody and Aishwarya looked lovely lip-syncing it."
Also starring Anil Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao in lead roles, the Indian Hindi musical comedy drama is scheduled for a worldwide release on 15 June 2018.
