Who can ever forget the iconic Hera Pheri series which gave us unlimited laughter dose? The amazing trio of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal tickled out funny bones with their terrific comic skills in both Hera Pheri and Hera Pheri 2.
The three characters in the film- Raju, Shyam and Babu bhaiya are still etched in the hearts of the audience. Despite releasing over a decade ago, Hera Pheri 2 remains a hit with the fans.
Grapevines have been buzzing for quite some time, with the rumours that the three talented actors would soon reunite for the third instalment of the franchise. Isn’t the mere thought of Hera Pheri 3 so exciting?
Interestingly, the speculations gained momentum when Akshay shared a picture with Suniel Shetty on social media.

According to a report in DNA, the producer Firoz Nadiawala is yet to take a decision on the subject and director for the film. While Priyadarshan directed the first part of Hera Pheri, Neeraj Vora helmed the second instalment.
A source told the leading daily that the differences between Firoz Nadiawala and Priyadarshan were resolved. There are chances that the Bhool Bhulaiyaa director will once again take charge of the new project, added the DNA report.
The report in the leading daily suggested that Anees Bazmee and Firoz had cleared their issues and the former could helm Hera Pheri 3. ''At the same time, Firoz has also settled issues with Anees Bazmee, with whom he had a fall out before the release of Welcome Back. And Anees has also expressed a desire to direct Hera Pheri 3. So there is a one per cent chance that he may helm it’’, a source told DNA.
The makers of the film are yet to decide the plot of Hera Pheri 3 on which it will be based, said the report.
Firoz Nadiawala while talking to the leading daily revealed that an official announcement regarding Hera Pheri 3 would be made in the next two weeks.
