The makers of Angrezi Medium have finally dropped the first poster on the internet and it features Radhika Madan and Irrfan Khan in never-seen-before looks. Along with the poster, the makers have also revealed that the trailer of the film will release tomorrow. In the picture, Irrfan is dressed like a Queen’s guard and Radhika is seen hugging him. Madan is dressed in school uniform.
Irrfan also posted a special video message for his fans. The video is a compilation of stills from the films with Irrfan’s voice at the back. The actor hints at his health issues and why he can’t be present to personally promote the film.

Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour in March 2018. He left for London in the same month for the treatment and returned to India in February 2019. During his brief visit, Irrfan filmed Angrezi Medium. A couple of months later, he flew into London again to continue the treatment. Irrfan Khan returned to India after his surgery in September last year.
The film will also star Kareena Kapoor Khan. However, Kareena will not be romantically paired opposite Irrfan. In the film, Irrfan plays Champak from Udaipur who is in the mithai business for 'Angrezi Medium'. Radhika Madan will play the role of Irrfan's daughter who wants to go to abroad for studying. Kareena will be seen playing the role of a cop in Angrezi Medium. The film, directed by Homi Adajania will hit the screens on 20 March, 2020.
