Shahid Kapoor, who is busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming period drama Padmavati, has finally rubbished the reports about the movie's delay.
It was reported the Padmavati, which was said to release on November 17, has been pushed to 2018 release given the controversies and the constant delay in shooting.
However, clearing the air about the postponing of Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor said that the makers haven't stated anything about the delay yet.
“We have not yet said anything about any delay. You guys are the ones deciding everything,” Shahid told Deccan Chronicle.
When further probed about Padmavati release date, Shahid stated "You will know very soon".
Interestingly, Padmavati happens to Shahid's first period drama and first collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The actor will be seen playing the role of Raja Rawan Ratan Singh along with Deepika Padukone who will essay the role of Padmavati in Bhansali's period drama.
Padmavati also features Ranveer Singh in the role of a lead antagonist Allaudin Khilji.
