Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming movie Padmavati is in news again, this time for drawing the ire of Rajpur Karni Sena members.
The Karni Sena members have burned the posters of the Deepika Padukone starrer in Jaipur on Saturday. They have warned the makers that they will not allow the film to release in Rajasthan till it is pre-screened to Hindu outfits.
Members of Karni Sena members had earlier vandalized the sets of the upcoming movie in Jaipur. They had also allegedly assaulted the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The makers had to pack up and cancel the shoot in Jaipur as a result of this incident. Several Bollywood celebrities had stood in support of Bhansali and expressed their anger.
The first look of the much-awaited Padmavati has been well received by the fans, who can't seem to get enough. Fans are literally drooling over the look of Deepika Padukone and are in awe of her regal look.
The upcoming period drama revolves around the life of Chittor queen Padmavati. The movie stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the respective roles of Allauddin Khilji and Raja Rawal Ratan Singh.
