Varun Dhawan's third collaboration with Shashank Khaitian, Mr Lele will see Janhvi Kapoor replacing Kiara Advani as the lead actress. The actress who is currently working on 'Dostana' sequel alongside Kartik Aaryan, has been roped in by the makers of 'Mr. Lele' which also features Varun Dhawan. This will be Janhvi's fourth film under the Dharma Productions and mentor karan Johar who gave her first break with Dhadaak.
Varun and Kiara were seen in ‘Kalank’ together for the song ‘First Class’ and their chemistry was adored by the fans but the 'good Newwz' actress had to walk out of the project due to dates issue.
Janhvi apart from starring in 'Dostana 2' will be seen in a biopic on Gunjan Saxena-The Kargil girl. The actress of late shared some on the sets glimpses of the film. Moreover, Janhvi will also be seen in a horror-comedy film, 'Roohi Afza' opposite Rajkummar Rao and Karan Johar's multi starrer 'Takht'.
Moreover, Varun is gearing up for his forthcoming dance drama film, ‘Street Dancer 3D’ which also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi. The film is all set to release on January 24, 2020.
The film also starrer Bhumi Pednekar in another pivotal role and will be an out-and-out commercial entertainer but very different from anything the trio, Varun-Shashank-KJo has done before. It is currently in the prep and expected to go on the floors in late February or early March. The first schedule will be in Mumbai.
