2019 turned out to be a fabulous year for Bollywood in terms of both, content and box office numbers. Films like Bala, Super 30 and Gully Boy were applauded for its great storylines and terrific performances by the cast. 83: Ever Since the news of Ranveer Singh playing the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev in Kabir Khan’s directorial 83 was announced, fans have been waiting with bated breath for the film. Ranveer took training from Kapil himself and learned his batting, bowling and fielding style as well. The film will also star Ranveer's wife Deepika Padukone. She is playing Kapil Dev's wife Romi Bhatia in the film. 83 is all set to hit the screens on 10 April, 2020.

Lootcase: Lootcase featuring Kunal Kemmu and Rasika Dugal in pivotal roles is slated to hit the screens on 10 April, 2020. Initially, the release date was scheduled for October 11, 2019. The film also stars Gajraj Rao, Vijay Raaz, Ranvir Shorey and Nilesh Diwekar. While Kunal Kemmu will play the protagonist, Vijay Raaz and Gajraj Rao will be seen in the anti-hero avatar in the film.

Gulabo Sitabo: Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Gulabo Sitabo is all set to release on April 17, 2020. The film, being directed by Shoojit Sircar, was earlier supposed to hit the theatres on April 24 next year. Gulabo Sitabo, set in Lucknow, is billed as a quirky family comedy, penned by Sircar's longtime collaborator Juhi Chaturvedi. Khurrana teams up with Sircar after the 2012 hit Vicky Donor, which was the actor's debut in Bollywood.

Ludo: After the failure of Jagga Jasoos, Anurag Basu is all set to redeem himself with his next film called Ludo. The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra. The story of Ludo centres on unavoidable jeopardies of life and has four different stories set in a quintessential Indian metro. The film will release on April 24, 2020. Ludo is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Anurag Basu, Divya Khosla Kumar, Taani Somarita Basu & Krishan Kumar.

Gunjan Saxena: Janhvi Kapoor is all set to step into the shoes of IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena in her biopic. Angad Bedi will be seen as Gunjan's brother Anshuman Saxena, while Pankaj Tripathi will play their father. The film is being helmed by debutant director Sharan Sharma and is being produced by Dharma Productions. Gunjan Saxena made history when she flew into a combat zone during the Kargil War and evacuated injured soldiers from Kargil in 1999. Despite facing fire, Gunjan and lieutenant Srividya Rajan, managed to bring the soldiers home. For her courage, Gunjan was bestowed with the Shaurya Chakra. The film will release on 24 April, 2020.
