Actor cum singer Farhan Akhtar launched new song of his upcoming flick ‘Lucknow Central’ at the Yerwada Central Jail titled ‘Teen Kabootar’. The song is composed in the most unconventional manner, means the composer has not used any fancy musical instrument to compose the music except a guitar.
All the starcast of the song got together at Central Jail on the occasion of Independence Day for the launch of the song.
At the launch event, director Ranjit Tiwari said, "Nothing could have been more apt than sharing the song with you people because the story of our film revolves around four inmates who have a dream of singing’’.
Sung by Mohit Chauhan and Divya Kumar, the latest track ‘Teen Kabootar’ has been shot in the premises of Yerwada Central Jail.
The song consists of some catchy lines and the rhythm is created by body percussions and sounds from common items such as pots, brooms, pans, etc.
Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment, the film also features Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Gippy Grewal in pivotal roles.
The flick is set to hit the theatres on September 15.
