Giving a women-centric film, Kangana Ranaut starrer Panga, filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer is back with another one but this time she is collaborating with husband Nitesh Tiwari for a monumental project based on Siachen heroes. Collaborating with his husband and ace director of Dangal fame they will be now working on their next on Siachen Warriors.
Karan Johar took to twitter and announced the film on the same. He wrote in the tweet, “Glad to announce my dear friends #MahaveerJain, @niteshtiwari22 & @AshiwnyIyer next monumental film #SiachenWarriors, an incredible story of the brave warriors of our Indian army. Directed by Sanjay Shekhar Shetty & Written by Piyush Gupta & Gautam Ved.”
The Nit Battey Sannata filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari just took to her social media profile and confirmed. She tweeted, “Blessed that we are able to tell stories of unsung heroes of our beloved India. Proud to be a part of Sanjay Shetty’s dream film #SiachenWarriors @earthskynotes @sundialent @OpticusInc #SiachenGlacier #Siachen”
The film will be directed by Ad filmmaker Sanjay Shekhar Shetty. It is written by Piyush Gupta and Gautam Ved. The film will be based on a true story. The cast details are yet under wraps.
Apart from Saichen Warriors, director Ashwini Iyer Tiwari is all set to make a film on the lives of Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy and his wife Sudha Murthy. The story idea and concept was developed by writer Sanjay Tripathy. The film will chronicle the inspiring journey of Murthys and their contribution to the nation.
