Varun Dhawan's upcoming romantic drama October, which is one of the much-anticipated movies of the year, has been teasing fans with a series of pictures and trailer for days.
After releasing the first look of the Shoojit Sircar directorial on March 9, Varun Dhawan on Monday took to micro-blogging site Twitter and unveiled the first trailer from the flick.
"The wait ends ! Here’s a glimpse of the journey of Dan, Shiuli & their story of love. Watch the #OctoberTrailer now https://bit.ly/October-Trailer @OctoberFilm2018 @ShoojitSircar @BanitaSandhu @ronnielahiri @writeonj @ZeeMusicCompany @Kinoworksllp," Vatun wrote.
The two-and-a-half-minute-long trailer gives us a few glimpses of October's storyline, which seems to be a love story but an unconventional one.
In October, while Varun plays the character of Dan, a hotel management student working in a five-star hotel as part of his training programme, debutant actress Banita Sandhu aka Shiuli ends up in an ICU after a few major twits in the story. Banita will be seen playing Varun's classmate in the film.
October, which is being touted as a slice of life love story, rides high on emotional with less grandeur and fanfare, unlike other Varun Dhawan ventures.
Interestingly, the movie marks the first collaboration between Varun and Shoojit and celebrates nature, love and the beauty of autumn. The shots of jasmine flowers have further raised the charm and attractiveness of the locale, the movie shot at.

Post that, Varun will be seen in Sharat Katariya's Indian Hindi language drama Sui Dhaaga - Made in India. Also starring Anushka Sharma in a key role, the movie will hit the theatres on September 28, 2017. Hence, one can assume that the 'Judwaa 2' star is currently going through the best phase of his career with an amazing line-up of movies.
