Rumours are doing rounds that the director of Munna Michael and Baaghi, Sabbir Khan is all set to direct third instalment of Salman Khan’s starrer Dabangg 3. Producer Arbaaz Khan took Twitter handle to clear the air.
The makers of Dabangg have been looking for a director for a long time, since then reports of many directors linked to direction of the film had made rounds. Earlier, there were reports that Prabhudeva has been approached for the flick. Speculations were put to end when Sabbir Khan in an interview with a leading daily confirmed the news to direct the third instalment of the famous franchise. He told the daily, "Yes, I've started working on a plan for Dabangg 3 but I can't say anything until the paperwork is finalised. I am in talks and am really happy that I was one of directors selected to work on the final script’’.
Within hours after the news went viral, producer Arbaaz Khan took Twitter handle to slam the reports and wrote, "Sabir khan was never approached to direct or write Dabangg 3. His statement in Mumbai Mirror is untrue and rubbish. Extremely disappointing’’.

Sabbir Khan, after being assistant director to David Dhawan for the longest time, made his debut as a director with Kambakkht Ishq. His latest release Munna Michael starring Tiger Shroff is released today.
