'Tiger Zinda Hai': Will Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer be shot in Morocco?

After winning accolades for his last release 'Sultan', director Ali Abbas Zafar is gearing up with his next project with superstar Salman Khan , which is titled as 'Tiger Zinda Hai'.

The movie, which also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead, is said to be going on the floors soon and the makers have started scouting for the locations as well.

Ali Abbas along with his team has reached the locales of Morocco to do a recce for the location.

The director took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the news and posted a video from Morocco.

Ali wrote, "Friday Azaan in Marrakesh #Morocco Kick start @TigerZindaHai Location scout. Countdown begins."

In another tweet, he shared pictures with his team as they scout for the location.

'Tiger Zinda Hai' happens to be the sequel of 2012 release 'Ek Tha Tiger' starring Salman and Katrina in the lead.

Interestingly, unlike its sequel, 'Ek Tha Tiger' was helmed by Kabir Khan.

It is reported, Kabir took a backfoot for the sequel following his differences with YRF.

The media reports suggested that Kabir wishes to have a say in the budget management and allocation of the movies he make, but this was not acceptable for YRF.

As a result, Kabir turned down the offer to direct 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and Ali Abbas Zafar was taken on board.
