But the upcoming month of August has a possible goldmine of movies waiting to be released for movie buffs. From Prabhas and Sharaddha Kapoor’s upcoming movie Saaho to Quentin Tarantino's ninth directorial Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, here are some of the movie releases for August that will likely do wonders at the box office:

Saaho: The Sujeeth directorial starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor with their action-packed sequences that will also given Tom Cruise a run for the movie hits the big screen on August 30.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: The ninth Quentin Tarantino's directorial starring some of the most bankable actors like Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie that delves on the Manson Murders open on August 15.

Mission Mangal: With the success of Chandrayaan-2, India's second lunar exploration mission after Chandrayaan-1, Mission Mangal will be a treat for movie lovers with Mission Mangal, a movie based on the historic feat of India's launch of its first satellite to Mars spear-headed by Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari.  The movie releases the same day as ‘Once Upon A Time in Hollywood’’, August 15.

Hobbs and Shaw: A spin-off of one of the most-loved action franchises, the Rock and Jason Statham lead will release in India on August 2.

Batla House: Based on the real story behind the 'Batla House encounter', the movie where we will see John Abraham as the controversial ACP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, as of now is also scheduled for an Independence Day release.
