New Delhi:

Ed Sheeran, with his angelic voice might have won millions of hearts except ‘The Witcher's author Andrejz Sapowski, maybe? At the Warsaw Comic Con 2019, the author of Netflix’s latest addiction vowed that he will never let Sheeran sing in his series ever,

“I believe that my job as a creative consultant for this series is to make sure that at NO point in the show [will] Ed Sheeran sing,” he said. “And that I will make sure doesn’t happen. I will make sure’’ he further reassured.

Andrejz’s concern for his series is understandable given Ed’s notorious cameos in series such as Game of Thrones which received major backlash from the audience. Sheeran’s voice was also lent to films and TV shows such as Yesterday and Game of Thrones, and even The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

Andrejz’s vow to never let Sheeran sing is his series was backed by The Witcher fans who wrote on Twitter, ‘’as long as ed sheeran doesn't make a cameo in the witcher, i'll be happy’’.

As for one of Netflix’s most well-received series, The Witcher showrunner Lauren Hissrich revealed that the show has been renewed for season 2.

“Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri will be back for more adventures... in Season Two,” she tweeted.

“I could not be more proud of what the amazing cast and crew of The Witcher have accomplished,” Hissrich continued, “and can’t wait for the world to dig in and enjoy these stories with us.”
