‘Hey You’ Penn Badgley just confirmed that he is returning to the Netflix series as the psychopathically stalker, Joe Goldberg. With raving reviews from Netflix bingers, the series that first released in September 2018 is already spinning their web for a third season, a revelation that accidentally came a little too soon given season 2 was released just a week ago.
Speaking to ET, Penn had a tongue-slip moment when discussing the possibility of a female Joe Goldberg in the current series.
‘’She doesn’t appear to be the same kind of person. She doesn’t appear to be the same kind of predator. She doesn’t appear to be the same kind of… you know, dare I say, in the third season – oh, god!’’ Penn accidentally lets loose.
Following the slip-up, Badgley closes his eyes and tilts his head back, knowing he’s just accidentally confessed there will be a third season while he went on to say that he ‘literally knows nothing’ about the third season.
He, eventually gave in, admitting,
‘’Technically I can’t… I mean, like, unofficially?’’.
Now all we need to know is ‘when’.
