An image emerged of Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray visiting Ajmer Sharif to after Maharashtra Assembly Elections has surfaced.

It is not uncommon for politicians to visit places of religious importance after election results. However, when an image emerged of Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray visitng Ajmer Sharif to visit the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti emerged, it many eyebrows were raised. Thackeray, who recently was elected from the Worli assembly seat, was said to have visited Ajamer Sharif after the election in the capations shared with the picture.

Twitter user Gaurav Pradhan posted the image tagging the official handle of Shiv Sena. The image was shared with a text saying, "Bala Saheb died again today. Well done Shiv Sena!" The text on the image translated to, "Shiv Sena's Rahul Gandhi Aaditya Thackeray went to Ajmer Sharif Dargah today to make a wish that he becomes Maharashtra CM. Bal Thackeray (his grandfather) would have again died today".

However, a quick google seach reveals that Thackeray did not visit Ajmer Sharif after the Maharashtra election results. However, he had visited Ajmer Sharif four months ago.
