New Delhi:

Twitter users are trolling a Congress leader for mixing names of party leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra at a rally in the National Capital. They are sharing the video claiming that three-time MLA Surendra Kumar from Delhi’s Bawana constituency led a crowd of Congress supporters to chant ‘Priyanka Chopra Zindabad’.

After the clip was uploaded by a user, #PriyankaChopra started trending on social media. People started trolling the Congress party by comparing it with comedy shows. “Congress party runs a Comedy Circus and their election rallies are Great Indian Laughter Show,” a user wrote while sharing the clipping on Twitter.

“India does not need Comedians… Congress is there for it. Please do listen… Have fun,” another user said on the microblogging site.

“Since when has Priyanka Chopra joined the Congress?” a curious user asked. Another user hailed the former MLA as an intelligent guy saying the leader did it as he knows Gandhi's future. “Intelligent guy he knows Gandhi's future is finished…so they should change to Chopra now,” the user said.

News Nation searched on Twitter and found the entire video in which he can be heard later apologising for the blooper. The Congress’ Delhi unit chief Subhash Chopra, who was standing just next to the former MLA, looked visibly shocked after the blunder. So the claim is true. Below you can watch the complete video.
