New Delhi:
Did Prime Minister Narendra Modi wear a keffiyeh, a kind of Arabic headgear, during his recent visit to Saudi Arabia? An image showing PM Modi wearing such headgear is doing the rounds of social media. The captions with the image claim that PM Modi wore the keffiyeh upon his arrival in Riyadh. It also implies that PM Modi wore the headgear to impress his hosts.
However, a little reseach shows that the viral photo is photoshopped. A reverse search on the viral image shows this image has been constructed using an image posted by PM Modi. The official account of PM Modi had tweeted the images on Tuesday, October 29 mentioning that he had landed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In the original photograph, PM Modi is not wearing the keffiyeh.
Landed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, marking the start of an important visit aimed at strengthening ties with a valued friend. Will be taking part in a wide range of programmes during this visit. pic.twitter.com/3MskcllePr
