AFCAT 2020 Application Process for Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) posts has started. The application process is released by Indian Air Force for Group A Gazetted Officers Posts in Flying and Ground Duty Branches. It is to note that the Air Force Common Admission Test will be conducted online on February 22, 2020 and February 23, 2020. All candidates must make sure to read the eligibility criteria and official notification carefully before applying for the written test.
According to the official notification, admission at all the stages that include written test and SSB test will be provisional and final selection will be done after the eligibility requirements are met. The vacancy details of Group A Gazetted officer in various branch are as follows:
Flying Branch: 60 posts
Ground Duty (Technical): AE(L): PC-40, SSC-26, AE(M): PC-23, SSC-16
Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Admin: PC- 24, SSC-16, Accounts: PC-14, SSC-10, LGS: PC-12, SSC-08
NCC Special Entry (Flying): 10% seats (out of CDSE vacancies) for PC and 10% seats (out of AFCAT vacancies) for SSC.
Other than this, Candidates applying for the Flying Branch posts should be in the age group of 20 to 24 years and for the Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) branch candidates need to be in the age group of 20 to 26 years.

It is to note that the application fee of AFCAT 2020 is Rs 250, wherein NCC Special Entry candidates are exempted from fee payment.
