BSF Constable GD Written Exam 2020 has been postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. According to the official notification, all candidates who have qualified in the PET/PST Round for the Constable GD post that was held in the month of November/December 2019 should note that the GD Constable Written Exam in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh regions is postponed due to the outbreak of COVID-19 virus that has affected everyone in some way or the other. The GD Constable written exam is meant for recruitment of candidates in BSF and CISF.
Earlier, the BSF Constable GD Written exam was scheduled to be held on April 12, 2020. However, the exam is postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus and the ongoing lockdown period. Earlier, a total of 1,356 vacant position of GD Constable for the appointment in BSF and CISF in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh regions was released. The PST/PET exam was earlier conducted and al shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the written exam.
It is to note that the revised written exam timetable for the BSF GD Constable will be released in due course of time on the official website of BSF. Meanwhile, many government competitive exams such as UPSC Civil Services Personality Test and Indian Army SSB Recruitment exam are postponed amid Coronavirus outbreak.
