BSF recruitment notification has been released for Constable (GD) posts for male and female candidates. It is to note that a total of 1356 vacancies of Constable position are going to be filled through this recruitment drive for Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir region. All eligible and interested candidates need to apply through the prescribed format. In order to apply for the constable post, candidates need to appear for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) along-with the duly filled application form and other relevant documents from November 7 to November 14, 2019.
All candidates who wish to apply for the BSF GD Constable post should have passed class 10th examination and should fulfil the given physical criteria. In addition, candidates must be in the age group of 18 years to 23 years to apply for the respective posts.

BSF Constable Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the constable post, candidates need to have passed class 10 examination from a recognized board. The physical criteria of Male candidates in terms of Height and Chest should be 165 cms and Unexpanded 78 cms and Expanded with Minimum expansion 5 cms. For female candidates, the height of candidates should be 155 cms. The weight of candidates should be in balance with the age and height according to the medical standards.
