Fire Sub Officers All India Entrance Exam 2019 Registration Process has started. All interested and eligible candidates who have the passion to work as Fire Officers can apply in the prescribed format at the official website of National fire service college, Nagpur, i.e. nfscnagpur.nic.in. Candidates will have to appear for the All India Entrance Exam to pursue the Fire Sub Officers Course from National Fire Service College. The duration of the Fire Sub Officers course is 33 weeks wherein 22 weeks of study will be held at the Regional Training Centre.
It is to note that Fire Sub Officers All India written examination will be conducted on October 13, 2019. The format of the written exam will be in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) pattern. Importantly, candidates who wish to apply for Fire Officer Written Entrance Exam should be between 18 and 25 years as on January 1, 2020. The upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms for reserved category students.
Fire Sub Officers All India Entrance Exam 2019: Education Qualification
In order to apply for Sub Officer post, candidates need to have done Graduation or a 3-year Diploma in any engineering stream from a recognized university that is approved by A.I.C.T.E. or Board of Technical Education. It is also to note that candidates must have passed the respective exam on or before August 31, 2019.
Fire Sub Officers All India Entrance Exam 2019: Physical Standard
For Male candidates: Height: 165 cm (Relaxable by 5 cm for Assamese, Nepali, Garhwalls, Nagaland and Gorkha Tribes), Chest: 81 cm with the least expansion of 5 cm and Weight should be at-least 50 kg.
For Female Candidates: Height: 157 cm. (Relaxable by 2.5 cm in the case of Assamese, Nepali, Garhwalls, Nagaland and Gorkha Tribes), and weight should be at-least 46 kg.
The application fee for the Fire Sub Officer Course is Rs. 100 and Rs. 25 for General Category and Reserved Category Students respectively.
