Indian Coast Guard has invited applications for the post of Navik General Duty. All eligible and interested candidates need to apply online in the prescribed format on the official website, i.e. joinindiancoastguard.gov.in. The online application process for Navik 2020 Posts has stated from January 27, 2020 and the last date to apply for the Indian Coast Guard Navik (General Duty) is February 2, 2020. Further, according to the official notification, the Navik (General Duty) admit card download link will be activated from February 15, 2020 and the last date to download the same is February 22, 2020.
Indian Coast Guard Navik General Duty Application
Candidates must make sure to go through the official notification and eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the Indian Coast Guard Navik 2020 posts. It is to note that a total of 260 vacant positions of Navik (General Duty) are going to be filled through this recruitment drive of which 113 vacancies are for general category candidates and the remaining are for reserved category candidates.
In order to apply for the Navik GD 2020 Posts, candidates need to have passed class 12 examination from a recognized board with 50 percent (45 percent marks for reserved category) marks. Further, candidates need to be in the age group of 18 to 22 years, i.e. born between August 1, 1988 and July 31, 2002 wherein month dates are inclusive. Age relaxation is provided as per government norms.

Duly fill the application form
Upload the scanned images
Pay the application fee and submit the application form
Candidates will be selected for the Navik post on the basis of written examination. Candidates who qualify the written exam need to appear for the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) wherein the testing procedure will take 2 days. The Indian Coast Guard Navik Written Test will comprise objective type questions from the sections of Physics, Mathematics, Basic English up to class 12th standard, Basic Chemistry, GK, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Current Affairs.
