Jharkhand Home Defence Corps recruitment notification has been released for Home Guard Posts. A total of 1,021 vacant Home Guard positions are going to be filled through this recruitment drive. All interested and eligible candidates need to visit the official website, i.e. recruitment.jharkhand.gov.in to apply online. Importantly, candidates must make sure to go through the eligibility criteria and official notification carefully before applying for the respective post. It is to note that out of the total vacancies 804 vacancies are for Rural Home Guards and 217 are for Urban Home Guard.
All eligible candidates need to apply online and the last date of application process is January 31, 2020. In order to apply for the Rural Home Guard Post, candidates need to have passed class 7th examination from a recognized board. Further, for the post of Urban Home Guard candidates need to have passed class 10th examination from a recognized board.
In terms of Physical Eligibility, height of male and female candidates should be 162 cms and 157 cms respectively. In addition, male candidates should have chest measurement of 79 cms. Candidates in the age group of 19 to 40 years are eligible to apply for the Home Guard Posts.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Test and Hindi Writing Ability Test along-with Technical Efficiency Test. The application fee for the exam is Rs 200.
