DRDO Recruitment 2016: Scientist and Engineer posts vacant

The Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) has notified recruitment to fill up various Scientists and Engineers posts through their GATE 2015 or GATE 2016 score.  Interested and eligible candidates are required to send in their applications by April 10. Here are the vacancy details:

Scientist 'B' in DRDO

Scientist/Engineer 'B' in Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA)

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

A first class degree or  equivalent to 60 per cent

If case of non-availability of the conversion formula, the Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA)/CPI of 6.75 on the 10 point scale will be considered equal to 60 percent.

Those with the knowledge of either languages German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese will be preferred.

Age limit:

Not more than 28 years as on April 10.  

Selection procedure:

GATE 2015 or GATE 2016 scores and a personal interview

Application fee:

Rs 100 for General or OBC category.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category as well as women are exempted from paying any fee.
