The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has notified recruitment to fill up the positions of Assistant Professors.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

Master's degree from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from a foreign university with 55 per cent marks is required. The candidate should also qualify the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grant Commission, Counsel of Scientific and Industrial Research or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

Those holding a Ph.D degree in accordance with the UGC (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D degree) regulation, 2009 are exempted from minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent position in colleges.

Age Limit:

Maximum 42 years as on February 15. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 45 years for scheduled castes, backward classes, EBP (Gen.) and unmarried women of Haryana.

Pay scale:

Rs 15600 to Rs 39100 per month with a grade pay of Rs 6000.
