Bihar Police has invited applications for filling up 2246 vacancies of SI, ASJ and Sergeant Posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the respective posts by visiting the official website of the board, i.e. bpssc.bih.nic.in. It is to note that the last to fill the application form is September 25, 2019. Meanwhile, out of the total vacancies 215 vacancies are for Sergeant, 2064 vacancies are for Police Sub Inspector and 125 are for Assistant Superintendent Jail. In addition, 42 vacancies are reserved for Ex Servicemen for the Assistant Superintendent Jail Post.
The candidates willing to apply on these posts should be between the age group of 20 to 37 years and there will be age relaxation will be provided to those belonging to the reserved category. Bihar Police Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for SI, ASJ and Sergeant Posts, candidates need to have HSC/SSC/Graduation/Post Graduation in the respective subject.
The age limit for the Bihar Police Recruitment 2019 is between 20 to 37 years.
Candidates will be shortlisted for the respective posts based on the performance in written test that will be held in two phases, Preliminary and Main exam.
